A big thank you to Lynn and Mavis Parsons for their work on the ballot box, it looks amazing. Thanks to Malcolm for the write up about the ballot box and the insight into Lynn’s survey career.

Congratulations to all of us on another successful AGM as well as to the new members of the executive, new life members and new honorary member. Thanks to Carla for taking all of the photos.

In this issue we have included more information on condominiums, an article on the NWMP trail walk and link to an article in the Spring 2007 Corner Post about the trail, a couple of really good stories about Meades Ranch Kansas, and Golf Course mapping.

The David Thompson award winners are also included; congratulations to Dave Gurnsey and Altus Geomatics for winning the Innovation in Geomatics award. I think Wayne and Gerald thought they had next year’s award nailed with their 1:30am motion but alas it was not to be.

We have included a very interesting court case on water boundaries which I encourage all of you to read very carefully. Thanks to Steve Drew for providing that.

Submissions to the news letter by any member are welcome, please send them in. We still need photos for the cover page so if you have any send them to Carla or me along with a brief note about them.

Have a safe and productive fall.
